The Brother MFC-9130CW will be the junior of three LED-based multifunction printers (MFPs) that the company recently unveiled, offering a sparser feature set than the Brother MFC-9330CDW.
The actual Brother MFC-9130CW, rated at 19 pages per minute for both colour and monochrome printing, on our organization applications suite at 6. 5 effective pages per minute (ppm), a decent speed because of its price and ranked speed. It was just a little faster even than the Brother MFC-9340CDW, ranked at 23 ppm, which often tested at 5. 8 ppm, and slower than this Brother MFC-9330CDW, ranked at 23 ppm, i always timed at 6. 6 ppm.
Overall output quality for Brother MFC-9130CW was a little below par. Text quality was right on par for laser-class computer printer, which is to state very good. It's fine for almost any business use lacking ones that require minuscule fonts, such as demanding desktop submitting applications.
Brother MFC-9130CW graphics quality was par for a color laser. Colors were generally properly saturated; some dark backgrounds looked a tad blotchy. There was mild banding (a frequent pattern of faint striations) in the majority of the illustrations. It would not do well with showing a gradient between darker and lighter tones, as this printed output demonstrated little difference between them.
